Yesterday we had a wonderful launch at The Children's Bookshop in Beecroft for my two new books; Alice-Miranda Shines Bright and the Alice-Miranda Diary, as well as a slightly belated launch for Clementine Rose and the Farm Fiasco. I loved seeing so many friends and it was fun to have baby animals there to pat and hold as well. There are lots of animals in both stories including a cheeky donkey called Cynthia, two naughty goats called Cherry and Pickles, a goose called Eloise and a mean ram called Ramon.
My best grown up friend, Jacqueline Harvey is feeling a little under the weather and I thought her voice would give out but she made it through. She's not very well at all today though and needs to have a bit of a rest. I thought I would share some photographs from the day. There are a few friends whose parents gave permission for them to be on the blog but if other parents would like to send photos to add, Jacqueline would be happy to put them up too.
Her email address is Jacqueline@jacquelineharvey.com.au
The other exciting news is that Alice-Miranda Shines Bright has been selected on the Get Reading Program as one of the 50 Books You Can't Put Down. I'm so excited to be going to Queensland in the next school holidays where I will be having parties in lots of libraries and bookshops all over the south east of the state. You can find details here Alice-Miranda Shines Bright Parties in Queensland
Have a wonderful Father's Day everyone.
Lots of love,
Alice-Miranda xx
