Introducing my friend Clementine Rose

Hello Friends,

I hope you're all well and having a good week at school.  My best grown up friend Jacqueline Harvey has asked me if I was happy to share my blog with Clementine Rose Appleby.  She's a gorgeous little girl who lives in the village of Penberthy Floss, which is very close to where I live at Highton Mill.  Clementine goes to Ellery Prep School where I used to go before boarding school.  She has an adorable pet tea cup pig called Lavender and lives in a rambly old mansion, which her mother Lady Clarissa has turned into a country house hotel.  She has an interesting great aunt, Violet and a there's a gorgeous man, Digby Pertwhistle who is the butler at the house - but is more like a member of the family, just like Shilly and Mrs Oliver at our house.  Clementine Rose is going to write some posts for the blog every now and then too - she's very sweet and funny and she LOVES poetry, fashion and talking to the portraits of her grandparents on the stairs.  I think she's completely adorable.  I hope you do too.

I'm looking forward to telling you all about our adventures in England - we're here right now. But it's time for bed. We're visiting two schools tomorrow; Sarum Hall and Highgate Junior School and I can't wait!

Lots of love,
Alice-Miranda xxx
